Thanks man, I need to update this thing a little. The motor build is creeping along, I had to dump $160 into a new fuel pump when mine bit the dust a few months back, further stalling it but getting a new pump was good, its a much more simple one than what Ford put in,no tiny bolts on top of the housing, the lid just snaps on. It also has tabs to hook up the fuel pump, which makes upgrading to other pumps more easy. The fuel gauge is more accurate, which is kind of a downer now that its not on 3/4 of a tank at 250 miles anymore  I swapped over to a used MMI intake, it has a much better top end than the Iceman, but the fun of gobs of low end power is gone, my tires don't miss that one bit though, and i still break 'em loose frequently. Summer also means I'm not hauling tools back and forth to school, and I've taken the spare out, meaning less weight in the rear and a little bit of a loose rear keeps the twisties fun. I've disappointed everything from 60's mustangs to a couple crotch rockets so far when they can't lose me. I've scored a metal idler for the new head, further eliminating chances of timing belt movement.

I decided to not wait until re-powdercoating of my new wheels, but rather rock the bad finish and have fun with them this summer, and worry after that about the color. They're SSR GT1's

My newest toy came a couple days ago, a rare craigslist find

The prior owner had bought it and painted it blue, but other than that it's still new. I'll be sending it to Florida sometime soon

Took a 4.6L tb apart, it's what I'll be using with the frim. Also took apart a stock zx2 tb, as you can see it'll be a vast improvement

Ok so it's been a while since my last update, I got all the speakers installed courtesy of my housemate(carfi installer for BestBuy), the speakers were all Alpine Type R, components up front, 5x7's in back, and a single 12" sub in the trunk.  Needless to say the sound is exponentially better than before.  I've got a Vit tune on the car now, it feels a little better than NGP0 but I've not gone to a dyno to see where I'm at though it has kind of interested me to see the change.  All parts are in for the head swap but I've not gotten the time, space to do it, or money for custom tuning as of yet. That should be around soon enough, hopefully the install will go down sometime before school starts in August and is delayed indefinitely again.  I broke/wore out my axle again in May, after replacing the axle and retaining the halfshaft, the bearing in the half finally went bad and wore out that end of the axle as well, meaning the lifetime warranty didn't help for anything as the halfshafts are NLA thru Ford. I replaced the ps axle with the 3rd gen sedan passenger axle that doesn't use the halfshaft but also comes with the lifetime warranty, problem solved.  Also I was able to finally get centercaps for the SSR wheels, at $35 apiece they weren't cheap, but if thats all I need for a forged set of 17's to look good I consider it money well spent.
